Mill Tours

We’re a working watermill that welcomes visitors of all ages to come and watch us in action. Follow the water on its journey to the wheel and see water power turn grain into flour. Listen to our millers and guides explain the history of the mill and how we are giving a traditional piece of machinery a new lease of life.

Tours last around 45 minutes.

Children are welcome on the tours and will be encouraged to have a go at winnowing the grain – a process that sorts the wheat from the chaff – or by using the Mill’s small hand grinder that magically turns grain into flour! We also welcome larger groups to the Mill.

Tour prices are currently: £5 per adult, £2.50 for children 5-15

£12 for a family (2 adults and two children). Children under 5 are free.

**SEPTEMBER 2025**

As our Mill is entirely volunteer run, we may be short of 'on duty' millers during September. Thursdays and Fridays are generally recommended for tours at this time. However, we would suggest that you give us a call before making a journey to check that someone can be with you!
